Anna & Michael’s Unforgettable Wedding at the Hyatt Regency Resort Aruba
When I say Anna and Michael’s wedding at the Hyatt Regency Resort Aruba was one for the books—I mean it. From the emotional first look on the lawn to an epic carnival-style entrance that had every guest on their feet, this celebration was everything a destination wedding in Aruba should be: joyful, vibrant, and filled with unforgettable moments.
Getting Ready: Champagne, Sentiment & Pre-Wedding Cheers
The day began with Michael getting ready in his suite alongside his groomsmen and father. The energy? Pure excitement. After a few laughs and a couple of pre-ceremony drinks, we headed downstairs to the Ruinas del Mar restaurant for some sleek groom party portraits.
Meanwhile, in the bridal suite, Anna was surrounded by her inner circle—her mom, sister, niece, and mother-in-law. The details were dreamy: flat lays of the invitation suite, the sparkle of the rings, and yes, a celebratory champagne pop that kicked off the day with style.

First Look Feels: Garden Vibes & Double Surprises
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort for the first look, choosing the lush lawn area for that magical reveal. Michael’s face when he saw Anna? Pure gold. But that wasn’t the only first look—Anna also shared a heartfelt moment with her father, and yes, tissues were involved.

As a fun twist, we made a quick detour to the resort’s casino for some playful portraits of the couple that added a glamorous, cheeky touch to their gallery.

The Ceremony: A Surprise That Had Everyone in Tears
Set on the soft sands of the Hyatt Regency Aruba beach, the ceremony was everything you’d expect from a beachfront wedding in Aruba—stunning, romantic, and serene. But Anna added a unique twist: just before she walked down the aisle, a voice note she had pre-recorded began playing for Michael. Cue the waterworks.

A live violinist played throughout, adding to the dreamlike atmosphere. After saying “I do,” we gathered everyone for a big group photo—because nothing says love like sandy toes and smiling faces.

Cocktail Hour & Sunset: Island Vibes & Golden Skies
Right next to the ceremony setup, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the beach with the sounds of the ocean in the background and the sky melting into soft pastel hues. And when I say the sunset was one of my favorites of 2025—I mean it. The light, the colors, the couple—it all came together for magic-hour portraits that I’ll be obsessing over for a long time.

Reception: Shots, Speeches & A Carnival Party to Remember
Held on the lush lawn area of the Hyatt Regency Resort, the reception kicked off with a clever touch—a wall of shots where each guest found their table number and took a toast-worthy shot. This set the tone: fun, festive, and totally personalized.
After a romantic first dance, emotional parent dances, and heartfelt speeches from Anna’s father, her sister, and the best man, it was time for round two of the grand entrance—but this one came with feathers and flair. A full Carnival troupe stormed the dance floor with DJ Tino dropping beats that had everyone dancing instantly. It was next-level energy and the perfect way to celebrate their love island-style.
